Re: Is this a possible parasite infection?

I have done some reading on this, and it seems Antibiotics are a first-line of treatment for it. I am currently on Prednisone as well as Cipro/Flagyl and am feeling really good, but the pred could just be masking my symptoms. My quest stool samples came back negative (of course) but I had already started my anti-biotics before sampling so my doctor wants to repeat the test after the course is done (not for a while). I don't think I will use quest again though.

What else should I be considering aside from this amoeba? Tweet
