Re: Hyperthyroid, autoimmune, Adrenal Exhaustion
Great response.
I used to feel very much like this with very similar symptoms. The first thing that I did was very carefully start to deal with the candida... I, personally, would assume that, over parasites. I started with olive leaf, which I tolerated quite well... Even in my very weakened state. That doesn't mean that you will though... Every one is different, of course. I take Source Naturals Olive Leaf. I suggest that you start with a half a tablet, just to be safe, and then work your way up... Maybe increase one tablet per week until you get to four. I take four 75 mg tablets per day and my candida issues are under control. That will hopefully help with the brain fog, somewhat with the digestive issues, probably the itchy anus, the
Sugar and starch cravings, might help with some of the general adrenal issues. When I was at my very worst with AF symptoms, this was the first thing that I did that made it easier to exist and it was kind of astounding how much better I felt (not healed by any stretch of the imagination), but better.
Definitely try to see what happens if you go low carb...no sugar, for sure. I have no idea what your current diet is like, but the fact that you are having cravings makes me think that there is some starchy or sugary foods that you are eating that you aren't tolerating. You might not be metabolizing carbs properly... And thus feeding candida. You can have die off just from cutting out carbs, so go slow with this too. Also, if you are as sensitive to carbs as I am, you might want to even look in your supplements and make sure that you aren't taking anything with glycerine in it.
After that, I would look into starting an adrenal glandular. Again, start low and go slow. Your AF is definitely severe enough to warrant this. I think it will make a huge difference for you. (Be aware of muscle spasms as a possible side effect. I have to mention this just because it happened to me and even though its not super common, it does happen, and although the adrenal cortical extract helped immensely with my AF symptoms, the muscle spasms caused a whole slew of other issues. Anyhow, it's easy to deal with if you know what to do... Take potassium if you have muscle spasms from an adrenal glandular.)
I think that looking into IF1 and IF2 for the constipation is also a good suggestion. IF1 will cause die off, so again start low and slow.... Add until you are pooping twice per day, then add the IF2 to add bulk and absorb the toxins from your colon.
Forgive me, for not knowing your history better... I've only read some of your recent posts, so some of this may be repetitive. Nevertheless, this is what I did to deal with the symptoms that I had that were very close to what you have going on.
