question about spinal cord stimulator

I had stretch injury damage to right brachial plexus 5 yers ago and then got CRPS/RSD right arm. Went through moderate dose ketamine three times and many stellate and brachial plexus nerve blocks. They helped but wore off after 48 hours each time. Then ahd a blcok that hit the nerve and it all got really bad and worse.

A doctor sugested that I try a spinal cord stimulator. But I am concerned, the neurologist said no to this. And on RSD puzzles site it says the stimulator works for a few months and then sees the stimulator as a foreign body and causes more inflammation.

My CRP (inflammation marker) is 4 times normal now.

Has anyone had a spinal cord stimulator that worked and worked for more than a year? Of did you get firts an improvement and then problems. I also read there is a 20% complication rate.
