Re: Hair testing - circulating or excreted mineral values?
Yes...the interpretation varies from practitioner to practitioner despite being TEI or ARL...which doesn't help keep it a consistent healing Protocol, quite annoying really!
But i really want to know if 'officially' the results are considered to reflect what the body is dumping out as waste...or whether the results mean what has been circulating through the body.
Just like blood results show circulating values generally. Urine results show waste levels.
If hair testing indicates circulating levels IN the body then it can be used as a tool for adjusting mineral balance.
If the results are levels of what's excreted...then it's a harder
Science to work with and get mineral levels IN the body right, IMO.
It's really bugging me that i can't find an official resource that confirms what exactly the hair results indicate.
I wish more practitioners would be on this forum to chime in and help understand this better!
