Re: EDIT,Give my Dammaged Skin Some Sun!!!

That's so great!!! We get into beleiving what they say out of fear. Learning the cure takes the fear and then you can help yourself and others. Take the power back so to speak. I am also going with an instinct I have about the sun and how it can reverse skin damage. I have not seen too mush about it and I would love to hear from others. I am no expert but here is what I am thinking. My sun damage is because of continual second degree sun burns and suntan oils as well as hydrogenated acid forming diet as a combination that makes the skin go into a damaged state. I do not believe for one second that the sun is bad for me. I remember a time that I worked outside and gradually came to a bit of a tan. I am extremely fair so a bit of color is a tan for me. I think this is normal if you are in the sun and in fresh air enjoing the out doors. Getting second degree burns is not normal. I was tanning for vanity not health. Now I think getting sun in a propper fashion is what is called for to rebuild the layers of skin. Not Lasers! I do not put sunscrean on my kids and I do not let them burn. We are in the subtropics so they get plenty of sun. If I think they might burn I will give them a hat. Natural sunscrean used by native peoples, oils and flower mixes, are for when you are required to be in the sun for prolonged periods and you are not used to it. They are not meant to sizzle you on the beach.
The industry of lotions and dermatology is scarring people into using very harmful and dangerous products and proceedures when education is all that is needed. I know that if I go tanning at the beach, aka fry and burn and do it again, with an acid condition in my body, and some poison on my skin, then I will be running to the Dermo for some help very soon!I think they know it too. I have heard they say to keep sunscrean on even when you go to your mailbox! LOL The sun is a healer like herbs and water-as in sweat baths, distilled water, etc. I remember my grandmother begging me not to burn in the sun. My teenage self just knew so much better, LOL.
MH says not to put anything on the body that you can not eat! I've learned so much just applying that statement!
When I get my burn cream,(Comfry, raw honey, wheatgerm oil) I intend to take before and after pics.
Then I will apply the sun treatment and see where that takes me!
