Re: Be careful of switching to Tei
Actually, SB, I have.
You can PM me if you want to confirm names, but I didn't give anyone money unless I found them to be reasonable.
That is really the approach I recommend with NB
*** find the practitioner who works for you. It can take some trial and error. Interview them first (which is why I'm doing a lot of interviews - to serve the community - so we can hear from various people before hiring them).
You wouldn't pay a sitter to watch your kids without interviewing them and calling references, right? Why pay someone you don't know?
And if you got "nothing," why not tell them so and ask for a refund?
My advice here is really general -
Be proactive.
Do your homework.
Be prudent. Use caution.
If things don't work out, say so - but to them. Otherwise how will they know? Your feedback to them is essentially serving others.
I've been through 3 practitioners already, and I definitely do get the frustration you're feeling.
But I have no one to blame. It is what it is.
The first guy didn't respond to important emails. Then later apologized. I moved on.
The second person proved a bit flakey and not 100%. Again, I moved on. The third person same thing -
I found someone who is now professional, responsive, delivers.
But I also consult with a variety of people and don't put all my eggs in one basket. I don't think any one person knows what's best for me. I just don't approach things like they do.
Again, though, if someone didn't deliver, I would ask for a refund.
