Anonymity probably enables most amateur trolls since they can say whatever they want on the internet without getting punched in the face, but there are plenty that are paid to do it and are probably not mentally ill, just mercenaries or ideologically motivated. Best not to pay attention to them, the less hits they get the less money and pleasure they get. Tweet
