thanks for your answer. my friend was diagnosed with cancer in the esophagus that spread out to the abdomen last friday and doctors said there was no hope. all he wants is to be left alone and sleep. i had the hunch he was going through withdrawel from tramadol. one of the side effects is swelling of the esophagus. why would anyone want to take such dangerous medication.
