Re: Looking for an ('older') anorexia buddy...

I'm very glad to have found this thread.
My name is Liz. I'm 27 and have been looking for someone to correspond with for some time. For the past 3 or 4 years I have been placed into inpatient/outpatient treatment for what the doctors have decided to label as EDNOS with some comorbidity issues. I have struggled with eating, body image, self esteem (yada yada yada...You know the story) since I was 11 or 12. It began as binge eating when i was younger, then moved to ana/mia up until college when it was ana/exercise mia. I've always had a difficult time keeping the thoughts of food out of my head and would like to have an additional helper to keep me in check. Im 5'7" and used to be a relatively happy 110lb woman (my bare minimum goal), currently I am less than desirable 127. I've never tried doing this before so I thought I would give it a shot.
I'm looking for someone who would be willing to make contact and correspond regularly. I'm not talking every 5 minutes, but at least a few days a week would be ideal.
Since I have been in treatment I have felt lost and have been trying to get back into the swing of things with no avail. I would be truly grateful for any of your help.
