Re: Praziquantel/Albendazole and fruit??
Thank you, blueciel.
I did herx some, but I'm fairly aggressive with the vitamin C and my detox pathways are fairly clean/efficient these days, so it wasn't too bad. To be specific, I low-level herxed for about a week; I had started with mebendazole and pyrantel pamoate (week 1), then moved on to albendazole and praziquantel.
I did kill tapes with the Praziquantel, as I saw segments in the toilet following a mild bout of diarrhea, and none following my latest liver flush, which typically yielded some toward the very end of the trips to the bathroom. Perhaps it's not as efficient as Niclosamide, but it is effective in most cases according to the research I read. For whatever it's worth, I did herx a bit more when I started the prazi, and it got worse after I believe I felt something die (I felt a thrashing/unnatural movement in the ascending colon, which is where I typically had issues/blockages when I'd have colonics) on the second day just before bed. I had nausea the rest of that evening and through half of the next day.
Sweating during eating? hmm. What kind of diet are you following? Pancreas function checked? Blood sugar, insulin tests? Glucose tolerance test? Thyroid function (all of it, not just TSH)? Do you drink enough water? I might also consider hsCRP, SED rate, etc. out of curiosity.
