No, I did not have a biopsy. Sometimes, it might just be the saliva with the allergic reaction defense from fungus in body that gets in contact with the sensitive/thin lip skin.

I want to remind everyone that if you do not have candida, you still might have another fungus in your body whether it be from breathing in environmental mold or a dentist using a contaminated instrument in your mouth. Therefore, it is best to try to get saliva and mucus (from nose) tested for fungus. There are so many different types of fungus that I do not know if there are tests that look for all.
