Foot doctors often prescribe Sporanox or other anti-fungal drugs for toenail fungus. I did not have toenail fungus. If you have toenail fungus, it might be easier to see a foot doctor to get a prescription. I think the duration of treatment for toenail fungus is also 6 weeks, but I do not know if the dosage is the same or less.
