The chart you provided made me chuckle. The numbers at the bottom shouldn't be negative; if you type in log(-1) into google, log -1 = 1.36437635 i, meaning an imaginary number. Hopefully that wasn't published as is in a scientific article. I'm sure the data is accurate though.
