I dont think there is any such thing as mild case of ec... Hear me out.. there are two forms of ec that we know of 1 were ec is just affected in the top triangular part. 2 were ec is effected both lips.. 3 were ec effects only the top lip or the bottom.. the severity of ec at a particular time is how long the build up has been left on..
