Re: Clarification Regarding ARL vs TEI
CaptainPlanet- You have been given lots of good information. I just want to add that ARL and TEI both give diet recommendations on their full reports based on oxidation rate.
The problem with this is that ARL considered me a slow oxidizer and I sent the same test over to TEI and they classified me as a fast oxidizer. When I was with ARL for the first year I ate a fast oxidizer diet anyway. I just felt better eating more fat, protein and lower carb(Paleo diet). I still eat basically the same way today.
We also have to be careful about lumping ARL in with Wilson. I worked directly with them and they did not recommend
coffee enemas or sauna. I was told not to do the saunas while in the 4 lows as I asked them about this. They said it might be too much to handle at that time so that is why I never did them and started doing the plain water enemas.
Much of your success or failure with NB will be tied to the quality of your diet and eliminating stressors. NB has been a great adjunctive therapy for me but I also attribute my success to treating chronic infections outside of NB.
Good Luck!
