Re: I messed up and made a mistake after my 30 day fast.
Even fresh milk would've been bad news. Milk is somehting that should be consumed ONLY by itself (if you MUST have it), and even if you do, it should be fresh from the cow itself.
Pasteurized milk means it has been heated, which renders all the enzymes needed for digestion have been rendered useless.
Your body couldn't handle it.
So, now you know.
Considering your age, you did very well. I was almost 43 when I did my first water-only fast. This was back in 2000.
I broke it after over a week by going to a restaurant and ordering their fettucini alfredo.
I thought I was going to die.
It was HORRIBLE.
Some lessons are learned the hard way.
I would suggest you spend the next few days eating very simple meals of fresh fruit. Pick ONE fruit and eat it by itself every time you feel hunger.
Mix nothing.
Since you feel better now, I believe you'll be alright.
Read more about fasting. Please. It sounds like you already have, but please get more educated. I'm rooting for you.
Fasting should be about health FIRST! Always!
