Re: AF turned out to be candida
Paulette, you wanted to know more about diatomaceous earth? I wasn't sure if your question was directed to me but I'll answer anyway.
I don't believe that bed bugs can enter the body... I don't think. But diatomaceous earth (please look up the spelling) is great stuff. I started taking it roughly 2 months ago. Because I am a super wimp when it comes to taking new things, I started with 1/2 teaspoon a day and worked up slowly to a tablespoon a day. Mix it with a small amount of liquid and drink quickly because it doesn't stay mixed for long. My bloating went away totally and I felt better. I am a chicken, so I didn't look in the toilet to see if any dead "things" were there. It would have grossed me out to see them. lol But I'll bet they were there. Other people have told me that they have seen them in the toilet. Also, I read somewhere that
parasites are very common. Gross, huh.
It can be sprinkled on carpets, etc. BUT. DO NOT BREATH it. It can do serious damage to the lungs. If you use it on carpet, etc., wear a mask. Leave it awhile and wear a mask when you vacuum it up.
I hold my breath when I scoop it from the container and put it in the liquid to drink it. Ok. ok. I'm probably paranoid and way too careful but..... it does say to be careful not to breath it.
You can use it on pets too but I don't use it on my cats because it is a very fine powder and don't want to take the chance of them breathing it.
It is so inexpensive and well worth trying. Just be very sure that the bag says "food grade".
