Re: Brain fog
I have more issues then what you have going on but I've had brain fog for 10 months in addition to all these other issues.
I've logged quite a bit of my dietary intake and behavioral patterns (sleep, etc.) on and off and what I've so far come up with--this is preliminary--is that high
Sugar tends to cause problems. For me, it works like this:
1. I eat regular american diet e.g. subway, sandwiches, cereal etc. and feel fine.
2. Half a day later or a day later, brain fog sets in and I feel like my consciousness is in a box if that makes any sense.
3. I stop eating
Sugar altogether following GAPs, or SCD, brain fog goes away but my other symptoms stick around.
I've read three books and according to these books, all my symptoms point to Candida. I will say, before I started getting all the other symptoms I had brain fog then it turned into other things: muscle twitching, a poisoned like feeling, chronic fatigue, yawning constantly, gas, bloating, etc.
The basic theory for what you're experiencing sounds like a candida, but nobody really knows.
This might be a solution for you:
Avoid processed sugars
Drink more water
Do cardio (not extreme)
And consider reading a book on GAPS.
