Hi lalobear,

I had a procedure while experiencing AF, equally i'm chemically sensitive. I vomited a lot 3 hours after the anasthetic wore off and was very lethargic for 2 days. I wasn't in severe AF at that time.
I don't know what to suggest to negate feeling these effects, hopefully someone else will know more.
Maybe avoiding food and only drink water might be wise as i was force-fed in hospital before being allowed to leave.
If you could take 2-3 days off of all commitments that will help recovery better.

Perhaps, if you are on supplements like vit C check whether you should stop these for a few days before the procedure so as to not contra-indicate the anastehesia. I wasn't on supps when i had my operation, but thought it worth mentioning.
