Re: Is TMAU based on a hormonal deficiency?
Yes, its one of the first ones I came across. But, I actually feel a lot better while taking it. Maybe its because my blood pressure has always been very low. The doctors would always comment that it was pretty low. Maybe that's why I was always so lethargic. I have more energy now and I can think more clearly.
So, I am very careful with the maca root I am only taking about 1/4 tsp every other day, and so far that's fine for me. I will adjust as necessary. Also, the more I am consistent with exercising I don't get any symptoms from it. But, I should be doing that everyday anyway, and I had already started to form a routine, so it wasn't a big change for me, its just that when I got busy I would skip a day.
But, thanks for posting that. I think everyone should know to be careful and seek a doctor's advice before taking it.
