Your experience is typical, I'm sorry to say. Many people will tell you what you want to hear rather than the truth. This is a chronic progressive disease.

For what it's worth my experience with probiotics and strict diet is same as yours. Not only they are useless for treating an infection, but didnt even stop it getting worse and spreading.

You might try a combo of antifungal drugs rather than a single drug - e.g. Itra+terb+nystatin. If they work, you could consider staying on indefinitely, until someone invents an actual cure.
