Anyone found benefit from progesterone for AF?
Wondering if anyone who has had 'sex' hormonal imbalances alongside AF, whether they tried progesterone and found it useful?
Just been reading about the effects of low progesterone (hormone both men and women have) on the adrenal system.
Progesterone helps make adrenal hormones, and when deficient in progesterone cortisol is produced, which endured long-term would eventually lead to burn-out.
Many symptoms of low progesterone or deficiency 'mimic' Adrenal Fatigue symptoms, and i am wondering if, in this age of estrogenic foods and xenoestrogens whether there is a silent endemic of estrogen dominance causing an ever increasing progesterone deficiency in both genders, young and old.
Unsaturated (veg, fish) fats are also baddies in terms of hormone balance, helping estrogen to stay in the body preventing breakdown by the liver. Unbelievable isn't it!
Progesterone is responsible for so many functions in the body, aside from pregnancy...
Anyone felt relief from their adrenal issues using progesterone?

:
"In experiments, progesterone was found to be the basic hormone of adaptation and of resistance to stress. The adrenal glands use it to produce their antistress hormones, and when there is enough progesterone, they don't have to produce the potentially harmful cortisol. In a progesterone deficiency, we produce too much cortisol, and excessive cortisol causes osteoporosis, aging of the skin, damage to brain cells, and the accumulation of fat, especially on the back and abdomen."
