Whats going on is inflammation. What causes the inflammation we dont know for sure, I think I know what caused it for me.

I agree I believe that surgery would be a HUGE mistake. The inflammation is most likely rooted much deeper than the layer of skin they would remove so it would be pointless.

Why dont you just stick with your current treatment? Youre lucky enough to have seen a doctor who actually knows what this is. The treatment will take awhile. Dont give up on it. Be patient.
