I already had the lip reduction surgery in 2002 because i was desperate, but the peeling lips never went away. the plastic surgery was a big mistake and a waste of money -$4,000. they had to stitch up both lips and it look bloody and bruised up after the surgery. you have to wait 4 weeks for the stitches to dissolve and go away, but my lips still dried up and peeled on a weekly cycle. i still have peeling lip 11 years after the surgery. i would not advise anyone to do the lip reduction surgery, but if u don't believe me then try it for yourself and learn the hard way you'll be sorry. I think the promising cure is the chinese lady that took Imuran 50mg a day for 6 weeks and the peeling lips went away and she had pictures and proof. Imuran pills is probably the best route for those people that are desperate because it cured that chinese lady in the photos.

I might be wrong because it is hard to remember, but I thought someone who had it done had new problem with lips sticking together while talking.
