My progress after starting to treat infections

Hi All,
I thought I would give an update on my progress. It was almost 2 years ago, August of 2011 that I totally crashed. I was hit with the worst fatigue I have ever experienced, along with nausea, diarrhea, extreme anxiety and depression. I couldn't go to the grocery store without feeling like I would probably just die.

I had numerous tests done, and of course they all came back normal. In November 2011 I turned to NB since it had helped a friend of mine so much. On my first test my Calcium was 66, magnesium 3, sodium 3, potassium 1. I was in total burnout. My practitioner started by addressing the gut, and while it was better, it still wasn't right. Fast forward about a year, to November 2012 and my numbers were still low. Calcium 28, magnesium 2, sodium 2, potassium 1. I was feeling better but not by leaps and bounds and my numbers said I was still in burnout. She put me on a supplement to increase hydrochloric acid in the stomach, as well as a tincture that included cat's claw and some other things.

January 2013...I started seeing straaange things come out in the toilet, and even in my menstrual blood. I had suspected I had a parasite infection all along, but wasn't sure. This was starting to make me wonder. I told my practitioner and she started me on an herbal parasite cleanse in April. The first couple weeks were rough and I had loads of Depression and my fatigue got a little bit worse. Then I passed a whole bunch of white worms!! very clearly, this was a major obstacle to my recovering.

I continued to take the herbals and then medication. The first round of meds I had terrible abdominal pain on the third day. My fatigue starting improving a little more afterwards though. Two weeks later I did the second round of meds and had more fatigue during and for a few days after. The following week, however, things started changing.

I've been gaining strength little by little over the past couple of years but that's not saying too much since my starting point was exhaustion from just getting dressed in the morning. Some days that was all I could do. After the second round of meds (about three weeks ago) I took a trip to Charleston, which I was a little nervous about since I knew we would be on the go a lot. However, we walked miles a day and although I was tired, I did just fine! Since then, I've continued to gain energy.

I've been doing hard, physical labor around the house and not crashing afterward. My blood Sugar is staying much more even. My anxiety is waaay better. I have days where I feel down, but it's not the black hole feeling I used to have when I first started. Yesterday I cleaned a house for three hours and still had the energy to come home and get some things done.

I realize I'm not out of the woods yet. I still have a ways to go and I need to be careful with my energy still. I've had occasional crashes in the past few months but they are lasting far less time than they used to. I expect I may still have more of them, but I have a real hope that things are on the upswing. I will send away for my next hair test in the next few weeks so I'm excited to see if there will be improvement. But even if it's not marked improvement on paper, I know that will come because I'm feeling so much better and feel like I may be back to living my real life again, only this time with more understanding and balance.

So..just thought I would update you guys. Hope you are all doing well!
