My vision returned to normal about 24 hours after I took the dose. I read online that dogs frequently have temporary blindness as a side effect of ivermectin. It apparently causes the retina and optic nerve head to swell. I'll be more careful of ivermectin from now on.

I don't think I've done permanent damage -- my vision seems like it's gone back to normal entirely now.
