Oh, one more thing. You might want to see if one of your community hospitals has any sort of special wellness program where they'll run various blood tests and charge you pretty much what you'd pay if you had insurance. I got the following done for only $75:

- TSH, free T4, T3
- cholesterol (LDL, HDL, TC, triglyceride)
- blood counts
- blood Sugar check
- liver/kidney tests
- testosterone
- vitamin D

It's worth fishing for such values.
