Re: Healing very well
The Evening Primrose Oil has essential fatty acids in it. The female who took it was concerned about how it made her gain weight. The reason I stopped taking Black Currant Oil is I thought it made me gain 5
pounds since I have always been the same weight until I took it. Although I stopped taking it, I still have not lost the 5 pounds. So, I do not know if it was related. I must say I was only taking 1,000 mg per day, but maybe I need to take twice as much to see results. have you noticed any weight gain? Also, has your iron level decreased because Evening Primrose Oil interferes with iron absorption. That is why I used Black Currant Oil instead

"Dry skin is a classic sign of an essential fatty acid need. A deficiency of good oils can cause the cell membrane to become “sluggish.” Not only will nutrients have trouble getting in, but natural waste products and toxins an become trapped in the cell. Your cells experience what I would call for lack of a better term “cellular constipation.” We can get our cells working again by feeding them what they need."
"For omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid deficiency, you can do a 60 day trial of cod liver oil supplements (about 1 tablespoon a day), plus walnut oil (1-2 tablespoons each day). The cod liver oil contains omega-3's, and the walnut oil is a good source of both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Take the oils with meals. You can use cod liver oil capsules if you don't want to deal with the fish taste. You can add the walnut oil to salads or just pour it on top of your other foods (using it like you would melted butter)."
