I have had a toenail fungus for 10 years. I seem to have recurring vaginal yeast. Last summer I had yeast/ fungal rash every time I went to the pool or beach. I would put selsun blue on it for a few days (w/out rinsing it off) and it would go away, but leave skin discoloration. (The reason I did not do anything about toenails was bc I was pregnant or breastfeeding.) Now that I am able to focus on it, my doctor put me on lamisil for 3 months. During that time I had no vaginal or skin symptoms. (The toenails she said would take time to grow out.) Until now, a month after being off the lamisil, I have yeast- vaginal and skin. The one toe still looks pretty active too. I am a pretty strict vegetarian/ healthy eater already or for at least the last 3 yrs I have been. (no sugars, no dairy except organic yogurt maybe once twice a month, no fats, whole wheat or grains only, barely any pasta or rice- maybe once every 6mo.)
THOUGHTS?
Thanks. :)
