The headache you get is propably just cleaning reaction, i dont think selenium chelate mercury, it just binds it and when mercury and selenium are together they make a new substance together...actually i believe that selenium and mercury are something like magnets....when they are in contact they try to " connect " to other and visa versa, and that has great advantage as when that happen it then cant go to brain tissue .


So even thought selenium cant directly chelate mercury it helps a lot when it binds it so it makes it less dangerus to human .


I think you just need to take something that is knows as heavy metal binder, like chorella, zeoforce, spirulina etc...when you have some binder stuff allready in your gut ready to catch toxic elements you might not notice headache at all....and drink a lot water also(clean water)


Well that was just my humple opinion, been doing some detox myself so i know how allmost all bad stuff end up in gut one way or another when taking anything that can help the body to do cleaning, if i remember right this...it`s about 90% of toxic substances that end up in your gut/intestines when doing detox,and a lot will just become sucked up all again if there is not something there to bind it .


So it`s a painfull recirculation .
