Re: Selenium

Selenium & Iodine are co-dependent. You can't take one without the other. I suggest the next time you take selenium, balance it out with a drop of Lugols in a glass of water. This may resolve the problem.

You might also try the natural sources of selenium, such as 3 Brazil Nuts a day, or a can of sardines a day. Since starting on iodine, I get my selenium from Brazil nuts, wife gets hers from sardines.

The recommended selenium is
- - 200 mcg selenium (L-selenomethionine preferred)
