Re: What to do about current MRSA
I'm not saying this will help, but it did for me. I had a small something that looked like a bite on my leg. It kept getting larger and angry red, and developed the typical MRSA pus center. It got to be about dime size. First thing I did was take a cotton swab and dab the center with chlorine bleach. Yes, it burned. Then every day, I would pour peroxide in it over and over for about 10 minutes, then put a bandage with ichthammol (drawing salve - available at CVS) on it. I removed the bandage and repeated twice a day, and every morning, I would do the bleach again, then start over with the peroxide and ichthammol. I was told by a Native American herbalist NOT to pull the center out of it, so I didn't. I just kept doing this routine and after about 3 weeks, it healed completely. It never got any bigger once I started this routine. The scar was really red for a long time, but I kept putting cocoa butter and castor oil on it, and it faded, but the center stayed white. It has no pigment in it, doesn't even tan.
And yes, if you have MRSA once, it is in your blood for good and it can come out somewhere else on your body. I have a friend who had that happen.
