I'll never forget either one:

1) I had a heart arrythmia for YEARS and YEARS; it almost killed me in late 1997. A year or two later I was diagnosed with what they called "Long QT Syndrome". It means that the hesitation between heartbeats can be dramatically too long - life threatening if TOO prolonged.

On 02/Feb/2007 I had an especially-scary episode of it. (This was ONE week after learning about Iodine from Trapper on another health forum and I was Led to purchase "detoxified iodine" from iodinesource.com and had already received it and started taking it in very small doses.)

Anyhoo, I had a very slow heartrate on 2/2/07, was cold to the core, and the heart arrythmia was dramatic. Still too scared to take more orally, I decided to drop 15 drops of Iodine on my belly skin surrounding my naval. In less than 15 minutes I had the "boing" effect and my heartrate went from the 50's to the 80's and even higher. I believe what I felt was the Iodine PUSHING the bromides out of my heart and taking it's rightful place in the valve! By bedtime my heart was back to its normal rate of the low-to-mid 70's if memory serves correctly.

I STILL have NOT had any arrythmia since that scary (but WONDERFUL) day!!

2) I held a cat (my biggest alltime allergen) for a neighbor while she went scouting for her lost dog. I realized I wasn't iodinated enough when I got allergy symptoms: itchy ears, itchy nose, tightness of lungs, shortness of breath.

I took ten drops of iodine orally with glass of water. Again, in less than TEN minutes this time) I had a "boing" effect, and literally felt ALL my allergy symptoms drain away - gone - finito - POOF!

Nobody is EVER gonna take MY iodine away from ME! Tweet
