MD was probably afraid of losing his license, so he passed you off on someone else. Sad state of affairs in this country where you have insurance but refuse to cover this problem.

My relative (above post) is spending over $2K a month on Antibiotics not covered by insurance, just to save her life… literally. Sure lowers your respect of those in charge.
