Whatever its worth, I've observed many pre-menopausal women to first have their cycles cut back, from 4 weeks to 3 weeks or therablouts, sometimes erratic, and have had several feedbacks on how Iodine supplementation made their cycles go back to 4 weeks, like when they were younger... AND they generally feel, act, and look younger. Those who've followed this forum for any length of time knows of many instances of this.
I took relatively large amounts of Iodine early on, to detox. While large amounts can be tolerated, like a gram a day or whatever, I tend to be conservative, just a couple drops a day or more twice a week, etc. I would predict that if Iodine is the key to the adrenal function that you will menstruate until your late 50's - early 60's, as women are intended to do and the energy of that youth extends in all directions outwards.
