Thanks for clarifying Longterm. Your Derm advised you to use a steroid for no more than a week. Mine, who is familiar with the condition and successfully treated it before, advised me to use one for a few months. Unfortunately using a steroid for 1 week is not the answer. I wish it were. If it were this forum wouldn't exist and I'd be out partying right now. And maybe your nickname would be “shortterm” or something. We have to be realistic around here, if conventional, completely risk-free treatments(which generally don't exist in modern medicine) were the answer none of us would be here.
