I'm sure its fine, though I'm not familiar with the product. My best advice to you is too search healing2021 and mikepylon's post history and treatment. Particularly mikepylon as he has had derms who have seemed to grasp this condition well from the start and is cured now. He also did a great job of recording dermatologist advice that makes sense, its all there and is stuff that I've tried to take to heart. But yes keep the moisturizer on your lips not only to keep them moist but also to provide a barrier. Good luck
