Questions to ask Professor at University?

Hey guys, so I found out there's a professor at my university whos particularly studying candida biofilms and its different forms between fungal and yeast forms; shes done over 50 published studies on it.

I'm thinking of asking her a few questions, but want to make sure I do plenty of research on the questions to not waste her time for something I can find on pubmed or google?

Do yall have any ideas?

The one I can think of right now is the role of chitin and chitinases in the breakdown for the biofilms
