I have reoccurring dreams about 1 specific ex. They are not very frequent, but they happen every so often, and it's always her. I've realized that it's a representation of an emotion or feeling. I think she represents "desire", or lack of. She was always the one I felt the most infatuated with, and something that I could never really have I guess. So maybe your ex, is representative of a concept, feeling, or emotion. What was different about her? If you had to describe your relationship as a adjective what would it be? I think that is what things in our dreams are. Not necessarily literal but more flashes of images that relate to something else in our subconscious as far as an emotion or feeling. It's up to us to put those images into a coherent concept that pertains to our current situation. Tweet
