Some improvements
Hello – I'm new to this forum and just wanted to pop in to add my experience.
I've been oil pulling with coconut oil for a few months because I was told that I have gum pockets (two 7's, two 6's, and four or five 5's). I have to admit, I wasn't very faithful about doing it every day and the next time I went to to dentist things had at least appeared to “stabilize” but the pockets were still there. Then I read a post here about adding 5 or 6 drops of liquid coq10 to the oil – so I gave that a try. I have consistently oil pulled with coq10 for about six or seven weeks now.
I just came back from the dentist and all of my pockets are now 5's or less! I am amazed! Now, of course I want those last few 5's to go away so I'm definitely continuing with it.
Oh, also when I first started oil pulling with the coq10, I didn't heed the warning to not oil pull in the afternoon/evening. Well, the first few weeks I had no problem with sleeping...but now I find that I can't sleep and have to do it in the morning. I wonder if I had a coq10 deficiency that is now being corrected?
