Re: THREE LAC... 1. The good...2. the bad....3. the ugly...
Three Lac works well for some, I've had patients swear by it, and for others it is a miserable failure. Different strokes folks. I like patients to take a good, basic high quality probiotic, preferably one that is reasonably stable at room temp for some time.
Why just probiotics? Think more about this balanced approach:
- probiotics taken regularly
- fermented and cultured foods in your diet
- sufficient soluble fibres in your diet that feed the beneficials.
- avoiding
foods that kill the beneficials (like commercial poultry containing anitibiotics), avoiding meds, etc.
- Here's the BIG one - stopping alcohol that only nukes the beneficials. (I knew you wouldn't like that one, so I left it until last, lol).
