Regarding my plan and the similarity to others - yes and no, the difference with my Candida Crusher diet plan which sets it completely apart from any other program is the integration of the many lifestyle changes that have to be made, as well as the need for tracking both a person's symptoms and 8 different home tests I recommend over a 16 week period. It is called "accountability". Most all books and diet plans on candida are just that - plans. There is no "test and measure: and zero accountability, and this is one reason why so many patients fail to get long-term or permanent results with their candida overgrowth.

Adrenal fatigue, stress and lifestyle factors account for possibly the biggest reasons why many end candida patients end up remaining the "walking wounded", sometimes for years. Some yeast infected patients are literally like zombies and live in a half-life/half-death state for up to a decade or more, it is tragic but true and I have seen quite a few like this over the years, some even placed on anti-psychotic drugs and institutionalized. My doc wanted me to see a psychiatrist when I was in my twenties, because all the tests were fine.

Your case sounds quite extreme, and no doubt there will have been many hidden factors preventing your full and complete recovery along the way. Diet accounts for only about 20% of recovery in my opinion, the remainder is lifestyle - but this encompasses a myriad of factors.

Did you even end up getting a CDSA x 3 stool samples? It would have been best to have had this completed from day 1, and would have served as a great baseline. This is the problem with many docs, they just have this idea to "let's just try this and see what happens" attitude too candida treatment, and so do too many patients I see who self-prescribe. Imagine if that's what Microsoft or Apple's attitude to the growth of their business was like in the early days. "let's just see what happens". The only way to recover is to establish what is amiss (a baseline), put a good protocol to use, STICK with it and then measure your responses along the way. It's working? great, fine tune it until it's perfect. It's not working? Right, change it until you find a solution that works for you and constantly fine tune it till you are well.
