Re: Which drugs are the most effective?
In Europe Mebendazole is more often available over the counter than Albendazole.
You also need to look up your "CHEMOTHERAPY" in a dictionary as taking any drug is defined as chemotherapy!!!
It is also misinformation to tell people to generally take one drug and not another. The type of drug that you need to take is entirely dependent on the specific type of
parasite that you are infested with.
You need to do your research on all the signs and symptoms, as well as tests. Then refer to the protocols from the user "ICU" (this version of the ICU Protocols link includes protozoans):

Also a useful link comparing drugs for worms:
http://www.fungusfocus.com/html/most_common_parasitic_drugs.htm
Albendazole + Praziquantel will cover a very wide spectrum of worms.
I have also tried all the drugs you mention in large doses, and the one I found the worst for side effects was Metronidazole (is ok in small doses but has very bad side effects in prolonged doses such as peripheral neuropathy and seizures). I do not recommend Metronidazole as a primary choice for worms as it is primarily meant for protozoans and anaerobic bacteria (will also kill off your healthy gut bacteria).
