Re: Not sure if my Diet and Protocol is working...

Adrenal fatigue is very underrated when it comes to candida recovery. Once you start to realize how important cortisol is when it comes to improving immunity, you begin to realize that you probably won't recover with AF, and that the white blood cells affinity to kick yeast is in proportion to their ability to be "switched on" by cortisol. It is well known that inhaled steroids (asthma) or ingested (prednisolone for many different illnesses) are widely used by conventional doctors to suppress immunity. By allowing a person's adrenals to optimize cortisol production as well as output and utilization, he or she will be optimizing his or her chances to finally conquer a yeast infection. It has been my 'secret weapon" when it comes to helping patients recover who previously believed themselves that they never would recover, or those who were discarded by their docs long ago.
Suspect patients in particular are those who have the most restrictive diets of all, some of my patients can only eat one of two foods. Have a look at AF, food allergies and the leaky gut connection.

Therefore, I get every chronic candida patient to complete an AF questionnaire. And guess what? most are moderate to severely adrenally fatigued.
