i was just speaking to a friend who is about to embark on the incurables program, he and his wife. we were talking about the same kind of thing you mention. he described a woman he read about who had a bypass surgery to lose weight. it was successful, yet she was not happy. she was angry in fact. though she had become thin, mentally and emotionally she was still a fat person. she was no longer whole. she neglected to fix or bypass the things in her thoughts and emotions that made her fat to begin with. if she had done those things first, the body would have followed along without the surgery.
