I'm in my 80s and have already made my wishes known to my family on my
demise. My church doesn't do "funerals" but they do memorial
services which is what I'll have and it will be in an open log shelter on the
beach. I have a love of the salt water and my city is on a bay and my
ashes will be scattered on the water to rest in the realm that I adore.
Many Americans are breaking with tradition on several fronts. That's
what the national political antagonism is all about. It's about spirit
changing the face of the planet.
Funerals are not for the dead, they are for the living who in the American
society are scared shitless of dying.
