Death is merely a transition. Americans take it much too
seriously.
When I was travelling in China more than thirty years ago I met a couple from
New York who had just arrived from Tibet where they had been on a very nice
mountain journey guided by sherpas. While they were trodding along the
ledge of a steep cliff one of the sherpas lost his footing and fell to his
death. The other sherpas laughed - and even talked to his
"departed" spirit telling him he should have been more careful.
They knew of course that everyone of us is an eternal spirit and that when this
body wears out we will be back to enter another one.
Learn to meditate and turn within and rediscover the eternal spirit within
you.
