Alcohol Intolerance - Is this a permanent problem?

I developed an alcohol intolerance about 6 months prior to being diagnosed with CFS/Fibromyalgia. Before Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome I was able to drink normally. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to treat or manage alcohol intolerance (and please don't suggest "don't drink" - thats how I am currently managing it and I would like other suggestions). I'm not interested in becoming Lindsay Lohan, I would just like to have a glass of champagne at my wedding next year without feeling like death on my honeymoon.

Background: I've been doing NB for a year to detox my body from excess copper - which has definitely helped my CFS. I have already done the candida/paleo diet, currently on the slow oxidizer diet.
