I used 30 activated drops in a bowl, and made a tent around the bottom of a molded piece of drywall in the basement. I didn't check it until the next day.

The normal protocol is online, but like for a room and contents, I would use more activated drops, and seal the room overnight, avoiding contact with pets and birds, etc. then ventilate.
