There is a youtube video regarding how they used the chlorine dioxide gas to clear mold from hurricane homes and businesses. That's how I found out about it. Then I heard about gassing it off in a room or closet just using the drops in a bowl. I tried it on a small piece of drywall with mold and it was incredible how it worked. A friend I recommended it to said it worked also.

It's worth a shot, especially if it is something you don't want to throw away. Tweet
